Stripchat review (2026)
Verdict: the tool-first platform. Fewer concurrent rooms than Chaturbate, but genuinely useful tag filtering with saved searches, a dedicated VR section, anonymous viewing mode, and frequent new-user token promos that make a first purchase cheaper than anywhere else.
Token prices (verified)
Verified against public purchase-page and help-center pricing, checkout price with no add-ons:
| Bundle | Price | Cost per token |
|---|---|---|
| 45 tokens | $4.99 | 11.1¢ |
| 90 tokens | $9.99 | 11.1¢ |
| 200 tokens | $20.99 | 10.5¢ |
| 540 tokens | $49.99 | 9.3¢ |
| 1,100 tokens | $96.99 | 8.8¢ |
| 2,350 tokens | $199.99 | 8.5¢ |
What things cost in dollars
Show pricing is published and enforced by the platform: private and exclusive private shows run 8–150 tokens/min, spy mode 4–60 tokens/min, cam2cam 8–250, ticket shows a fixed 8–1,000 token entry. The model picks the rate, so check the per-minute figure and any minimum session length in the popup before joining. Conversions at the 90-pack (11.1¢/token) and the 2,350-pack (8.5¢/token):
| Activity | Tokens | At 90-pack rate | At 2,350-pack rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Watch public shows | 0 | $0.00 | $0.00 |
| Spy 10 min @ 4 tk/min | 40 | $4.44 | $3.40 |
| Private 20 min @ 8 tk/min (floor) | 160 | $17.76 | $13.62 |
| Private 20 min @ 30 tk/min (mid) | 600 | $66.60 | $51.06 |
| Ticket show entry (100 tk) | 100 | $11.10 | $8.51 |
Filtering, tags, and finding the right room
Stripchat's tag system is the best we have tested in this category. Filters go past gender and region into activity, language, and stream quality, and the combination works — one or two filter clicks produce a relevant shortlist instead of a wall of rooms. Saved searches remember your preferences, which matters if you browse weekly rather than once.
Private shows, spy mode, and tickets
Three show formats with distinct economics. Private shows are per-minute and exclusive to you; spy mode lets you watch another viewer's private at a lower per-minute rate (first seconds free — the cheapest paid way to sample a room); ticket shows are group events with a one-time fixed token entry. The interface shows rate, spy eligibility, and minimum session length before you spend anything.
VR
The dedicated VR section is real: stereoscopic rooms streamed to phone-based headsets and supported PC setups, with rotating inventory. Quality depends entirely on your hardware, but for buyers who already own a headset this is the most developed VR offer of any platform we rank.
Mobile
Polished browser experience on phones: adaptive streams, one-thumb navigation, tipping without page reloads. Modern Android devices can also run the VR stream via cardboard-style headsets, though long sessions heat the phone. No app-store app; none needed.
VIP tiers and upsells
A layered VIP program pushes badges, token drops, and bundle deals more aggressively than on other platforms we review. It is optional and never blocking: ignore the tiers on a first visit, use the promos, and only consider VIP once you know your weekly spend.
Safety and age compliance
Performers pass 18+ verification, viewer side needs no account to browse, and the platform publishes US 2257 compliance documentation. Anonymous browsing mode is a genuine privacy feature. Standard rules apply: public chat is public, payments stay on-platform, and anything abusive goes through official support.

FAQ
How much do Stripchat tokens cost?
90 tokens cost $9.99 (11.1¢ each at the small end). The rate drops toward 8.5¢ in the 2,350-token pack, and new-user promos push the effective cost lower on a first purchase.
Do Stripchat tokens expire?
Purchased tokens do not expire under normal account standing. Bonus tokens from promotions often carry time limits.
What does a private show cost?
Private and exclusive private shows run 8–150 tokens/min, set by the performer and shown in the join popup along with any minimum session length. At the 8 tk/min floor, a 20-minute private costs 160 tokens — $13.62 at the 2,350-pack rate.
Is Stripchat good on mobile and VR?
Both. The mobile browser experience is polished, and the dedicated VR section is the most developed we have reviewed for headset viewing.
Stripchat vs Chaturbate — which should I pick?
Pick Chaturbate for maximum rooms and free content; pick Stripchat for filtering, VR, and promo discounts. The comparison page breaks it down by spend pattern.
The bottom line
Stripchat wins when tools matter: the filtering alone saves more frustration than any other feature here, VR is genuinely developed, and token promos make starter purchases cheap. It lacks Chaturbate's raw inventory and nudges upsells more, but as the strongest all-around alternative — and for VR specifically — it is an easy recommendation.
